F&Q

Why Hire a Band?
A live band brings a level of sophistication, elegance, and entertainment value that is unmatched. The authenticity and energy of a live performance create memorable moments that elevate your event.

M4U brings personality and keeps the dance floor packed.

Are You Willing to Learn Special Songs I Want Played?
We can learn specific songs upon request, provided you send your selections to info@musicians4you.co.uk at least one month before your booking. We advise against selecting entire set lists due to the unique way we structure our performances

Do You Provide Musicians for the Wedding Ceremony?
Absolutely! We offer several packages for your ceremony, whether it’s entrance music, hymns, praise and worship, or a special tribute song. Here are some suggestions:

5 Piece Band: 1 Singer, Bassist, Drummer, Pianist
7 Piece Choir: 6 Singers, 1 Pianist
8 Piece Band: 4 Singers, Guitarist, Drummer, Bassist, Pianist
6 Piece Band: String Quartet, Pianist, Singer
Please indicate your preferred package (1, 2, 3, or 4) in the additional information section of our package page or explore other options that may suit you better.

Can Music Be Provided for Drinks Reception?
Yes, one or more band members typically perform during the Drinks Reception. We usually suggest a Saxophonist, Pianist and Singer, or a String Quartet. For a more vibrant atmosphere, our Steel Pan group is an excellent choice.

How Long Does It Take the Band to Set Up?
Most bands set up in about an hour, although this can vary depending on the size of the band and the event.

Do You Offer Wedding Ceremony Music?
We offer excellent options for ceremony music, whether you want a solo piano, a Gospel Choir, or a live band. We can help you choose the perfect music for your wedding.

Does the Band Require Food & Drinks?
Yes, please! We don’t need a three-course meal and don’t drink on the job, but event days are intense for us. Our day often involves early starts, long journeys, and stressful sound checks, so having food provided helps us focus on making your event great. When events are in remote locations, it can be challenging to look after ourselves, and going off-site can cause delays.

How Much Space Do You Require?
Our 5-piece band needs a minimum of 4m x 2.5m. If you have a smaller space, we can suggest a package that will fit your venue, and we will work to accommodate your setup as best as possible.

How Many Hours Do You Play?
Every event is unique, but a typical wedding timeline includes 30 minutes of ceremony music, 1 hour of cocktail music, and for the reception party, either 2x 45-minute or 2x 60-minute sets with a 20 to 30-minute break.

How Do I Confirm a Booking?
Once you are happy with our quote, we will send you a contract form requiring a signature and a deposit payment of 50% of the total fee. This can be paid by cash or bank transfer. Your booking is confirmed once we receive your deposit and signed contract, and we look forward to performing for you.

How and When Do I Pay?
We accept cash on the night or payment via bank transfer. An invoice with payment details is issued with each confirmed booking. BACS payments must be cleared at least one day before the performance. Unfortunately, we do not accept cheques.

Can You Play for Longer?
If the band is available and agrees, we can extend the performance for an additional £50 per musician for 30 minutes.

Does the Band Provide Their Own PA/Lighting Equipment?
All our live band packages include a PA system. If you require lighting, please let us know, and we will include it in the cost.

Do You Have a Teaching Facility?
Yes we do our teaching facility is based in Croydon, South London.

What Age Do You Start Lessons
We start from age 5 and we suggest 30 minutes.

If you have any questions or concerns please email us at info@musicians4you.co.uk
